Solvent parts cleaning systems (Class AIII hydrocarbons)
The future belongs to the non-halogenated AIII solvents. These solvents include hydrocarbons, modifi ed alcohols and other specifi c solutions. Their dissolving power, their environmental performance and their economic effi ciency is what makes AIII solvents a true alternative to chlorinated solvents. The ECS is a compact single chamber cleaning unit that has been developed for SMB’s or large businesses with a decentralised cleaning. It uses hydrocarbons at high temperature under vacuum. The unit cleans, vapour degreases, dries and distils automatically in a closed circuit. The vacuum technology increases the cleaning effect and guarantees the machine’s safe operation. The cleaning quality is improved with help of ultrasonics and micro filtration.
The cleaning program is chosen considering the type of soiling, the geometry of the parts and cleanliness requirements. The productive capacity lies at 3 to 6 charges per hour. The ECS is equipped with a working tank and a high capacity distiller in order to assure a continuous availability of clean solvent. The tank volume, the heating capacity and the distiller are optimally coordinated. Several solvents can be used, e.g. Isoparaffi n or modifi ed alcohols.
